We Built This City on Rock and Coal brings scientists and theatre makers to rural locations in coastal Ireland for an interactive event driven by research, comedy, music and what matters most to the community. Each show includes not just a live performance, but a citizen science project beforehand and a follow-up sustainability workshop, creating an experience that is fun, impactful, and good for the planet. We believe that every individual and their community can be part of a solution to climate change, but provoking real behaviour change requires a more adaptive artistic approach.
